- Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! - Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord! - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
- As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from me;
your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me! - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- But I have trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
because he has dealt bountifully with me. - The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands. - And rend your hearts and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love;
and he relents over disaster. - Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity
and passing over transgression
for the remnant of his inheritance?
He does not retain his anger forever,
because he delights in steadfast love. - For nothing will be impossible with God.
- Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your steadfast love;
according to your abundant mercy
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin! - For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands. - On God rests my salvation and my glory;
my mighty rock, my refuge is God. - In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me? - Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love,
for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
- Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- But I will sing of your strength;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been to me a fortress
and a refuge in the day of my distress. - The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. - No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.Next verse!With image
