O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried.

And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!
Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old. Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!
For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.For it is you who light my lamp; the Lord my God lightens my darkness.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.
