- For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;

- Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

for ever. - For with God nothing shall be impossible.
- But I have trusted in thy mercy;
my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
I will sing unto the Lord,
because he hath dealt bountifully with me. - And rend your heart,
and not your garments,
and turn unto the Lord your God:
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil. - For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- Who is a God like unto thee,
that pardoneth iniquity,
and passeth by the transgression
of the remnant of his heritage?
he retaineth not his anger for ever,
because he delighteth in mercy. - The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands. - In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - Have mercy upon me, O God,
according to thy lovingkindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin. - In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. - Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. - If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
- Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. - Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;
for in thee do I trust:
cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;
for I lift up my soul unto thee. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
