Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Make'
- Do not make gods from silver or from gold instead of me. You will not make them for yourselves.
- He said to them, “Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
- If you would seriously consider my reproof,
I would pour out my thoughts to you
and make my precepts known to you. - Make your ways known to me, O Lord;
teach me your paths. - And the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I wish to make another creature who will be like him.”
- Jesus answered him,
“Whoever loves me will keep my word,
and my Father will love him,
and we will come to him
and make our abode with him.” - Give thanks to the Lord, invoke his name;
proclaim his deeds among the peoples. - And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who are peacemakers.
- I will make them and the region surrounding my hill a blessing, and I will send them rain in due season that will be showers of blessing.
- To these God chose to make known how rich is the priceless glory that this mystery brings to the Gentiles—Christ in you, your hope of glory.
- When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it, for God has no pleasure in fools. Fulfill the vow you have made.
- It is rash to pledge a sacred gift,
or to make a vow and then have second thoughts. - And you will say on that day:
Give thanks to the Lord,
invoke his name;
make known his deeds among the nations;
proclaim that his name is exalted. - Wash yourselves and become clean;
remove your evil deeds
far from my sight.
Cease to do evil. - I will, thereby, display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known to many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
- In peace I lie down and sleep,
for only with your help, O Lord,
can I rest secure. - I have made your name known to them,
and I will make it known,
so that the love with which you loved me
may be in them, and I in them. - Let your face shine upon your servant;
save me in your kindness. - May the Lord cause your love to increase and overflow for one another and for everyone else, just as our love does for you.
- Wealth and honor are from you,
you reign over all.
In your hand are power and might;
it to is in your hand make great and to give strength to all. - Make every possible effort to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
- I will make haste and not delay
to observe your precepts. - Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires.
- I will put my Spirit in you and make you follow my statutes and my ordinances.
- And God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the wild animals and reptiles that crawl upon the earth.”
Let us then make every effort to enter into that rest, so that no one may fall by following that example of refusing to believe.It is better to be a patient man rather than a warrior,
one who controls his temper rather than one who captures a city. Examine me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and understand my thoughts.
See if I follow an evil way,
and guide me on the way to eternity.Next verse!With image
