| And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” | They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” |

| A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the Lord upholds the righteous. | Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked; for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous. |
| Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? | Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? |
| Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. | Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. |
| But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. | Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. |

| It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man. | It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. |

| God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Does he promise and not fulfill? |
| Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. | Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. |

| But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. | You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. |
| How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. | How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. |
| Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! | Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. |
| The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. | The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him. |
