- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
- Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- For nothing will be impossible with God.
- For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me? - But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
- Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. - No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
- For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God. - Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”
- So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them. - No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.
- And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
- Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- But I am the Lord your God
from the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
- Our God is in the heavens;
he does all that he pleases. - Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.
- So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
