| For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee. | For Yahweh your God will bless you, as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow. You will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you. |
| I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. | I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations. I will sing praises to you among the peoples. |

| Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord. | I will magnify myself and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am Yahweh. |

| O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. | Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples. |

They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go.
