Do not forsake your friend and your father's friend, and do not go to your brother's house in the day of your calamity. When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. | A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. |
