- I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have given me life. - And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”
- My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my expectation is from Him. - I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved. - Surely he will never be shaken;
The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. - And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- Thus I establish My covenant with you: Never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood; never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth.
- But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
- In You, O Lord, I put my trust;
Let me never be ashamed;
Deliver me in Your righteousness. - Cast your burden on the Lord,
And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. - Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation. - For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up. - He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be moved. - Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
- Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.
- But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.
- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
- Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness. - And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.
- Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
- For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
- Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.
And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. - Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
- For there is not a just man on earth who does good
And does not sin. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
- And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.
- Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.
- Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
- Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
- Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me. - But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
- Now it happened that He went through the grainfields on the Sabbath; and as they went His disciples began to pluck the heads of grain. And the Pharisees said to Him, “Look, why do they do what is not lawful on the Sabbath?”
But He said to them, “Have you never read what David did when he was in need and hungry, he and those with him: how he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the showbread, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and also gave some to those who were with him?”
And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.” - There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?
- You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.
- But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
- He who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver;
Nor he who loves abundance, with increase.
This also is vanity. - Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
- Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You. - Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
- And the people said to Joshua, “The Lord our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey!”
- They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
- What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
- In God is my salvation and my glory;
The rock of my strength,
And my refuge, is in God. - And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;
For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. - Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. - Not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
- Therefore You are great, O Lord God. For there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
