- There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - He that hath no rule over his own spirit

and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. - Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. - I stretch forth my hands unto thee:
my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. - For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
- A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
- A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
- And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
- Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
- No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
- Who is a God like unto thee,
that pardoneth iniquity,
and passeth by the transgression
of the remnant of his heritage?
he retaineth not his anger for ever,
because he delighteth in mercy. - Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
- Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
- No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
- Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
- I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
- This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
- Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not?
for riches certainly make themselves wings;
they fly away as an eagle toward heaven. - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
- The words of a talebearer are as wounds,
and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. - Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
- But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
- Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
- For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
- Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
- Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.
- I, even I, am he that comforteth you:
who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die,
and of the son of man which shall be made as grass. - And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
- For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
- As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.
- The rich man's wealth is his strong city,
and as an high wall in his own conceit. - Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.
- For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
- Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
- Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. - For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
