Chinese (traditional)- Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
- The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands. - For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
- But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.
- O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
thou understandest my thought afar off. - Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.
- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God. - There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
- Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
- Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
- Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O Lord, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
and give ear unto my cry;
hold not thy peace at my tears:
for I am a stranger with thee,
and a sojourner, as all my fathers were. - For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.Next verse!With image
