- The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the decrees of the Lord are sure,
making wise the simple. - Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife just as Christ is the head of the church, the body of which he is the Savior.
- So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.
- There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
- You show me the path of life.
In your presence there is fullness of joy;
in your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - But I will sing of your might;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been a fortress for me
and a refuge in the day of my distress. - Just so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- Just as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever eats me will live because of me.

- And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth.
- And baptism, which this prefigured, now saves you—not as a removal of dirt from the body, but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace.
- Everyone who commits sin is a child of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
- But you, O Bethlehem of Ephrathah,
who are one of the little clans of Judah,
from you shall come forth for me
one who is to rule in Israel,
whose origin is from of old,
from ancient days. - Looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
- May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever. - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
my whole life long. - For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost.
- The precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is clear,
enlightening the eyes. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- The end of all things is near; therefore be serious and discipline yourselves for the sake of your prayers.
- For I am not ashamed of the gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
- Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart, and a humble mind.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.
