- Direct my footsteps according to your word;

and seek him with all their heart. - My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge. - Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the Lord. - But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high. - For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory. - Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. - I will praise you with an upright heart
as I learn your righteous laws. - Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. - Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord. - All your words are true;
all your righteous laws are eternal. - My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God? - I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. - Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom. - The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are attentive to their cry. - The Lord gives strength to his people;
the Lord blesses his people with peace. - The unfolding of your words gives light;
it gives understanding to the simple. - Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.
When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
