- For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. - Blessed is a person who finds wisdom,
And one who obtains understanding. - A fool does not delight in understanding,
But in revealing his own mind. - One who gets wisdom loves his own soul;
One who keeps understanding will find good. - Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.
- The unfolding of Your words gives light;

And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight. - May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
- And to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is much more than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
All those who follow His commandments have a good understanding;
His praise endures forever. - And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
- Turn from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it. - And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
- Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is unsearchable. - That their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and that they would attain to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself.
- Those who love Your Law have great peace,
And nothing causes them to stumble. - And He said to them, “Are you so lacking in understanding as well? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the person from outside cannot defile him, because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?” (Thereby He declared all foods clean.)
- You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.
- Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, mend your ways, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
- Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!

But counselors of peace have joy. - So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
- As for the things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
- How delightful on the mountains
Are the feet of one who brings good news,
Who announces peace
And brings good news of happiness,
Who announces salvation,
And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” - Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- For,
“The one who desires life, to love and see good days,
Must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.
He must turn away from evil and do good;
He must seek peace and pursue it.” - Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. - The Lord bless you, and keep you;
The Lord cause His face to shine on you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His face to you,
And give you peace. - If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people.
- My son, do not forget my teaching,
But have your heart comply with my commandments;
For length of days and years of life
And peace they will add to you. - For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us;
And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
