- For the Lord giveth wisdom:
out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. - Happy is the man that findeth wisdom,

and he shall direct thy paths. - Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever. - And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
- That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.

hast thou not heard,
that the everlasting God, the Lord,

fainteth not, neither is weary?
there is no searching of his understanding. - Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
- And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him; Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
- Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
- The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.
- I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
- Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. - Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them. - For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
- Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
- Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
- Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee. - And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
- The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

- The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
