Beloved, we are God’s children now. What we shall be has not yet been revealed. However, we do know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he really is. While physical training has some value, the benefits of godliness are unlimited, since it holds out promise not only for this life but also for the life to come.

For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
