Chinese (traditional)- The face of the Lord is against them that do evil,
to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. - The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. - Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. - The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. - Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - Commit thy way unto the Lord;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,
and thy judgment as the noonday. - Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. - A little that a righteous man hath
is better than the riches of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken:
but the Lord upholdeth the righteous. - The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again:
but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
and give ear unto my cry;
hold not thy peace at my tears:
for I am a stranger with thee,
and a sojourner, as all my fathers were. - I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts:
all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. - Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time,
and in the night his song shall be with me,
and my prayer unto the God of my life. - Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God. - For they got not the land in possession by their own sword,
neither did their own arm save them:
but thy right hand, and thine arm,
and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Be still, and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth. - Have mercy upon me, O God,
according to thy lovingkindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin.
Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me.For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God?
