Psalm 23:4 (3/9)

A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked. The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.The wicked borrows and does not repay, But the righteous shows mercy and gives.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.
For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.For the Lord loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.
Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.Lord, all my desire is before You; And my sighing is not hidden from You.
Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.Hear my prayer, O Lord, And give ear to my cry; Do not be silent at my tears; For I am a stranger with You, A sojourner, as all my fathers were.
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.
Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O Lord; Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.
As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.
My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?
Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and billows have gone over me.
Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me— A prayer to the God of my life.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.
For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, Nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored them.

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life.
Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth.
For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens, And Your truth unto the clouds.

But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble.
