A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation. - God setteth the solitary in families:
he bringeth out those which are bound with chains:
but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. - Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,

I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,
than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. - For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - Before the mountains were brought forth,

even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night.Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
