- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
- Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
- There are many devices in a man's heart;
nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand. - He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
- So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. - Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
- The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
- The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands. - Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
- Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Grant thee according to thine own heart,
and fulfil all thy counsel. - Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
- But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
- I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
- For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
- Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
- For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.
- For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
- Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
- Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
- Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin.
- How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.Next verse! With image
