- Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
- You are my hiding place and my shield;
I hope in Your word. - Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

- He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
- Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
- “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.” - Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord. - Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God. - Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. - And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
- But He said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
- And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.
- Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day. - But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
- His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
- Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?
- Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”— therefore the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken.
