Rather (2/3)

Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love. For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. While we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established; that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine. For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established; that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.Charge those who are rich in this present age that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
And do not go on presenting the parts of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and your body’s parts as instruments of righteousness for God.Also, do not present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. For I say through the grace that was given me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people, knowing that it is from the Lord that you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment. Now I beg you, brothers, through the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
Who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond-servant and being born in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross.Who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.
One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And one who rules his spirit, than one who captures a city. One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty; one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city.
Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you. Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble. For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
And He humbled you and let you go hungry, and fed you with the manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, in order to make you understand that man shall not live on bread alone, but man shall live on everything that comes out of the mouth of the Lord.He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna, which you didn’t know, neither did your fathers know, that he might teach you that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh’s mouth.
So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me.”Jesus therefore answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.”
But let justice roll out like waters, And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. But let justice roll on like rivers, and righteousness like a mighty stream.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
But when Jesus heard this, He said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.”When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.”
Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.Even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek what is good for one another and for all people.See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but always follow after that which is good for one another and for all.
But I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified. But I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.
For no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.For no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit.
Now no one lights a lamp and covers it over with a container, or puts it under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in may see the light. No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a container or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a stand, that those who enter in may see the light.
