- Better is a little with righteousness
than great revenues without right. - If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.

- Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
- He that walketh uprightly,
and worketh righteousness,

nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. - Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment,
and equity; yea, every good path. - Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit.
- And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
- A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - Defend the poor and fatherless:
do justice to the afflicted and needy. - Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
- Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - For thou hast possessed my reins:
thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvellous are thy works;
and that my soul knoweth right well. - Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
- We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.
