- It shall be righteousness to us, if we observe to do all these commandments before Yahweh our God, as he has commanded us.
- Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.
- Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
- Show me your ways, Yahweh.
Teach me your paths. - Then I saw all the labor and achievement that is the envy of a man’s neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.
- Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
- Treasures of wickedness profit nothing,
but righteousness delivers from death. - Riches don’t profit in the day of wrath,
but righteousness delivers from death. - Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. - Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous.
His ears listen to their cry. - For you formed my inmost being.
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to you,
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful.
My soul knows that very well. - In you, Yahweh, I take refuge.
Let me never be disappointed.
Deliver me in your righteousness. - But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.
- Who are you who judge another’s servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.
- Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
- Now therefore put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to Yahweh, the God of Israel.
- Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
- Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.
- We, being Jews by nature and not Gentile sinners, yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.
- Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
- For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- For with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
- Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another?
- For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
With my soul I have desired you in the night.
Yes, with my spirit within me I will seek you earnestly;
for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.A fool despises his father’s correction,
but he who heeds reproof shows prudence. For of him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen.Next verse! With image
