On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”But when Jesus heard this, He said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.”
Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.”But when Jesus heard this, He responded to him, “Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well.”
And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.”Therefore Jesus said, “For a little while longer I am going to be with you, and then I am going to Him who sent Me.”
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”And the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.”
“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God has come near; repent and believe in the gospel.
After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight.
Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”And looking at them, Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’For in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His descendants.’
“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road.
When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people.”
“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I entrust My spirit.” And having said this, He died.
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.But Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots, dividing His garments among themselves.
Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
“Now then,” said Joshua, “throw away the foreign gods that are among you and yield your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”Now then, do away with the foreign gods which are in your midst, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”But Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them to come to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”Paul said, “John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”
Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”But He said to them, “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one is affluent does his life consist of his possessions.”
On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.”
But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to raise his eyes toward heaven, but was beating his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’

While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set Barnabas and Saul apart for Me for the work to which I have called them.”
