- The Lord watches over strangers;
He supports the fatherless and the widow,
But He thwarts the way of the wicked. - Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.
- Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.
- He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who watches over you will not slumber. - Guarding the paths of justice,
And He watches over the way of His godly ones. - Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and they will hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock and flog and crucify, and on the third day He will be raised up.
- Be exalted above the heavens, God;
May Your glory be above all the earth. - And above His head they put up the charge against Him which read, “THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
- Like a city that is broken into and without walls
So is a person who has no self-control over his spirit. - His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter the joy of your master.’
- Put me like a seal over your heart,
Like a seal on your arm.
For love is as strong as death,
Jealousy is as severe as Sheol;
Its flames are flames of fire,
The flame of the Lord. - Make me know Your ways, Lord;
Teach me Your paths. - And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
- Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him for a thousand years.
- Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
- The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in
From this time and forever. - Who is a God like You, who pardons wrongdoing
And passes over a rebellious act of the remnant of His possession?
He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in mercy. - Keep deception and lies far from me,
Give me neither poverty nor riches;
Feed me with the food that is my portion. - Watch over your heart with all diligence,
For from it flow the springs of life. - Create in me a clean heart, God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me. - I sought the Lord and He answered me,
And rescued me from all my fears. - Search me, God, and know my heart;
Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts;
And see if there is any hurtful way in me,
And lead me in the everlasting way. - Yours, Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and on the earth; Yours is the dominion, Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.
- Just as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, the one who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.
- Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him;
Do not get upset because of one who is successful in his way,
Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes.
