Chinese (traditional)- In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
- He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
- In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
- Know then in your heart that, as a man disciplines his son, the Lord your God disciplines you.
- Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man!
- Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
- For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
- But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
- The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice;
he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him. - Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
- Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.
- He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
- And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.”
- He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”
- Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.
- And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
- My son, be attentive to my words;
incline your ear to my sayings.
Let them not escape from your sight;
keep them within your heart. - Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
- And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”
- You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- My son, do not forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments,
for length of days and years of life
and peace they will add to you. - No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.
- And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God.”Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.Next verse!With image
