- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live, even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
- I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
- And He summoned the crowd together with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.”
- And I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’
- So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
- I have set the Lord continually before me;
Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. - I have chosen the faithful way;
I have placed Your judgments before me. - “Return to Me,” declares the Lord of armies, “that I may return to you,” says the Lord of armies.
- To You, God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise,
For You have given me wisdom and power;
Even now You have made known to me what we requested of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s matter. - When my anxious thoughts multiply within me,
Your comfort delights my soul. - Establish my footsteps in Your word,
And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me. - But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
- You will make known to me the way of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever. - As for the things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
- So that we confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.
What will man do to me?” - “Yet even now,” declares the Lord,
“Return to Me with all your heart,
And with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” - You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves.
- In God, whose word I praise,
In God I have put my trust;
I shall not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.
- I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
- Therefore Jesus said, “For a little while longer I am going to be with you, and then I am going to Him who sent Me.”
- Bless the Lord, my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name. - And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
- If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.
