Chinese (traditional)- In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me. - Guide me in your truth and instruct me,
for you are God, my Savior,
and in you I hope all the day long. - Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed;
save me, and I will be saved;
you are the one whom I praise. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your gracious Spirit lead me
along a level path. - Protect me, O God,
for in you I take refuge. - But as for me, I will look to the Lord.
I place my hope in God my savior;
my God will hear me. - I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
- O Lord, do not withhold your mercy from me;
may your kindness and your truth keep me safe forever. - My life is in your hands;
deliver me from the power of my enemies,
from the clutches of those who pursue me. - In my distress I called out to the Lord;
he answered by setting me free. - The Lord then said, “Very well. All that he has is in your power. However, you may not lay a hand upon him.” So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
- You are truly my rock and my fortress;
for the sake of your name, lead and guide me. - For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
- Have mercy on me, O God,
in accord with your kindness;
in your abundant compassion
wipe away my offenses.
Wash me completely from my guilt,
and cleanse me from my sin. - The Lord is my shepherd;
there is nothing I shall lack.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me to tranquil streams. - And said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest.”
- And now it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. The life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me.
- I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
- I am the Lord, your God,
who brought you out of the land of Egypt.
You know no God but me,
nor any savior other than me. - I am the vine,
you are the branches.
Whoever abides in me, and I in him,
will bear much fruit.
Apart from me you can do nothing. - Even if an army encamps against me,
my heart will not succumb to fear;
even if war breaks out against me,
I will not have my trust shaken. - Jesus answered them,
“I am the bread of life.
Whoever comes to me will never be hungry,
and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” - Do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewal of your minds, so that you will be able to discern the will of God and to know what is good and acceptable and perfect.
- O Lord, you have examined me
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I stand;
you perceive my thoughts from a distance. - Teach me your ways, O Lord,
so that I may walk in your truth;
let me worship your name
with an undivided heart.
At dawn let me experience your kindness,
for in you I place my trust.
Show me the path I must walk,
for to you I lift up my soul.For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. And not only that, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we realize that suffering develops perseverance, and perseverance produces character, and character produces hope.Next verse!With image
