Bible Verses about 'Test me'
- Test all things, and hold firmly that which is good. Abstain from every form of evil.

Give me neither poverty nor riches.
Feed me with the food that is needful for me. - The heart is deceitful above all things
and it is exceedingly corrupt.
Who can know it?
“I, Yahweh, search the mind.
I try the heart,
even to give every man according to his ways,
according to the fruit of his doings.” - Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a right spirit within me. - I sought Yahweh, and he answered me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love him.
- As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.
- Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.
- He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.
- If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
- Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.
- But he knows the way that I take.
When he has tried me, I will come out like gold.
My foot has held fast to his steps.
I have kept his way, and not turned away. - If you love me, keep my commandments.
- You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
- You have also given me the shield of your salvation.
Your right hand sustains me.
Your gentleness has made me great.
You have enlarged my steps under me,
My feet have not slipped. - In you, Yahweh, I take refuge.
Let me never be disappointed.
Deliver me in your righteousness. - I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
- You are my hiding place.
You will preserve me from trouble.
You will surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah. - Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed.
Save me, and I will be saved;
for you are my praise. - Guide me in your truth, and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation.
I wait for you all day long. - Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.
- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - For you are my rock and my fortress,
therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me. - But as for me, I will look to Yahweh.
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me? - My times are in your hand.
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. - Out of my distress, I called on Yah.
Yah answered me with freedom. - Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh.
Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me. - Yahweh is my shepherd;
I shall lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters. - For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in my name receives me. Whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For whoever is least among you all, this one will be great.”
- Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness.
According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity.
Cleanse me from my sin. - Though an army should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear.
Though war should rise against me,
even then I will be confident. - I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
- Yet I am Yahweh your God from the land of Egypt;
and you shall acknowledge no god but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.
- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- Yahweh, you have searched me,
and you know me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up.
You perceive my thoughts from afar. - I am inquired of by those who didn’t ask.
I am found by those who didn’t seek me.
I said, ‘See me, see me,’ to a nation that was not called by my name. - He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
- You call me, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am.
