Bible Verses about 'Test me'
- Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
Point out anything in me that offends you,
and lead me along the path of everlasting life. - Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith.
- Instead, let us test and examine our ways.
Let us turn back to the Lord. - But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.
- Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.

and desperately wicked.

But I, the Lord, search all hearts
and examine secret motives.
I give all people their due rewards,
according to what their actions deserve. - Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a loyal spirit within me. - I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.
He freed me from all my fears. - God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
- I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me.
- I tell you the truth, anyone who welcomes my messenger is welcoming me, and anyone who welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me.
- Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began!
- Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.
- But he knows where I am going.
And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold.
For I have stayed on God’s paths;
I have followed his ways and not turned aside. - Lead me by your truth and teach me,
for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my hope in you. - If you love me, obey my commandments.
- The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear.
What can mere people do to me? - For you are my hiding place;
you protect me from trouble.
You surround me with songs of victory. - I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
- If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine.
- In my distress I prayed to the Lord,
and the Lord answered me and set me free. - You have given me your shield of victory.
Your right hand supports me;
your help has made me great.
You have made a wide path for my feet
to keep them from slipping. - O Lord, I have come to you for protection;
don’t let me be disgraced.
Save me, for you do what is right. - As for me, I look to the Lord for help.
I wait confidently for God to save me,
and my God will certainly hear me. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
May your gracious Spirit lead me forward
on a firm footing. - O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed;
if you save me, I will be truly saved.
My praises are for you alone! - My future is in your hands.
Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly. - Keep me safe, O God,
for I have come to you for refuge. - Lord, don’t hold back your tender mercies from me.
Let your unfailing love and faithfulness always protect me. - You are my rock and my fortress.
For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger. - In those days when you pray, I will listen.
- The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams. - Have mercy on me, O God,
because of your unfailing love.
Because of your great compassion,
blot out the stain of my sins.
Wash me clean from my guilt.
Purify me from my sin. - Then he said to them, “Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you is the greatest.”
- For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better.

Grant me purity of heart,
so that I may honor you. - If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first.
- Though a mighty army surrounds me,
my heart will not be afraid.
Even if I am attacked,
I will remain confident. - You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am.
