Bible Verses about 'Test me'
- Examine me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and understand my thoughts.
See if I follow an evil way,
and guide me on the way to eternity. - Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? If he is not, then you have failed the test.

you have purified us as silver is refined. - When you search for me, you will find me. When you seek me with all your heart.
- Make your ways known to me, O Lord;
teach me your paths. - Keep falsehood and lying far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but simply provide me with the food that I need. - The heart is more deceitful than any other thing,
and it is also perverse.
Who can uncover its secrets?
I, the Lord, search the heart
and probe the mind
to reward all according to their conduct
and as their deeds deserve. - I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he set me free from all my fears. - Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a resolute spirit within me. - Blessed is the man who perseveres when he is tempted, for when he has been proven, he will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
- Just as the living Father sent me
and I have life because of the Father,
so whoever feeds upon me will live because of me. - Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever receives the one I send
receives me,
and whoever receives me
receives the one who sent me. - And anyone who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- If anyone wishes to serve me,
he must follow me.
Where I am,
there also will my servant be.
If anyone serves me,
my Father will honor that person. - Father, allow those you have given me
to be with me where I am,
so that they may behold my glory,
which you have bestowed on me
because you loved me
before the foundation of the world. - You are a place of refuge for me;
you preserve me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah - When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you.
- With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid.
What can mortals do to me? - You have given me the shield of your salvation;
your right hand sustains me,
and your goodness makes me great.
You broadened the path beneath me
so that my feet have never stumbled. - If you love me,
you will keep my commandments. - In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me. - Guide me in your truth and instruct me,
for you are God, my Savior,
and in you I hope all the day long. - Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed;
save me, and I will be saved;
you are the one whom I praise. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your gracious Spirit lead me
along a level path. - Protect me, O God,
for in you I take refuge. - But as for me, I will look to the Lord.
I place my hope in God my savior;
my God will hear me. - I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
- O Lord, do not withhold your mercy from me;
may your kindness and your truth keep me safe forever. - My life is in your hands;
deliver me from the power of my enemies,
from the clutches of those who pursue me. - In my distress I called out to the Lord;
he answered by setting me free. - You are truly my rock and my fortress;
for the sake of your name, lead and guide me. - For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
- Have mercy on me, O God,
in accord with your kindness;
in your abundant compassion
wipe away my offenses.
Wash me completely from my guilt,
and cleanse me from my sin. - The Lord is my shepherd;
there is nothing I shall lack.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me to tranquil streams. - And said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest.”
- And now it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. The life I live now in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me.
- I can do all things in him who strengthens me.
- I am the Lord, your God,
who brought you out of the land of Egypt.
You know no God but me,
nor any savior other than me. - I am the vine,
you are the branches.
Whoever abides in me, and I in him,
will bear much fruit.
Apart from me you can do nothing. - Even if an army encamps against me,
my heart will not succumb to fear;
even if war breaks out against me,
I will not have my trust shaken. - Jesus answered them,
“I am the bread of life.
Whoever comes to me will never be hungry,
and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” - O Lord, you have examined me
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I stand;
you perceive my thoughts from a distance. - Teach me your ways, O Lord,
so that I may walk in your truth;
let me worship your name
with an undivided heart. - At dawn let me experience your kindness,
for in you I place my trust.
Show me the path I must walk,
for to you I lift up my soul. - You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’
and rightly so,
for that is what I am.
