Bible Verses about 'Test me'
- Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
- Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.
- Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
- Search me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
- Shew me thy ways, O Lord;
teach me thy paths. - And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
- For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me. - The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the Lord search the heart,
I try the reins,
even to give every man according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his doings. - Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
- Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
- And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
- If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
- Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
- But he knoweth the way that I take:
when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
My foot hath held his steps,
his way have I kept, and not declined. - If ye love me, keep my commandments.
- Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
- Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:
and thy right hand hath holden me up,
and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,
that my feet did not slip. - In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved:
for thou art my praise. - Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day. - Thou art my hiding place;
thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. - I called upon the Lord in distress:
the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. - Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. - Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - My times are in thy hand:
deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
and from them that persecute me. - Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. - For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters. - And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
- I am sought of them that asked not for me;
I am found of them that sought me not:
I said, Behold me, behold me,
unto a nation that was not called by my name. - Have mercy upon me, O God,
according to thy lovingkindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin. - Though an host should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against me,
in this will I be confident. - Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
- I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
- I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
- And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
- Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
- O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
thou understandest my thought afar off. - And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.Next verse!With image
