- And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. - When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
- Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.
- Therefore you are great, O Lord God. For there is none like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
- Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
- Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
- All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.
- And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
- You are altogether beautiful, my love;
there is no flaw in you. - The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;

he will exult over you with loud singing. - If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.

- There is none holy like the Lord:
for there is none besides you;
there is no rock like our God. - Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
- For the Lord your God will bless you, as he promised you, and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow, and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you.
- If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.
- When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you. - In the path of your judgments,
O Lord, we wait for you;
your name and remembrance
are the desire of our soul. - And he humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that he might make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
- To you, O God of my fathers,
I give thanks and praise,
for you have given me wisdom and might,
and have now made known to me what we asked of you,
for you have made known to us the king's matter. - If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
