Know then in your heart that, as a man disciplines his son, the Lord your God disciplines you.You shall consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so Yahweh your God disciplines you.
Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed. What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” Having said this, he breathed his last.
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.
Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared, for today is holy to our Lord. Don’t be grieved, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength.”
Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.

So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. My son, if your heart is wise, my heart too will be glad.My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad, even mine.
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.Those who are in the flesh can’t please God.
For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's.For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord’s.
And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”

Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.
