- This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
Says the Lord of hosts. - This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
- And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
- Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.”
- Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man’s all. - Do not say,
“Why were the former days better than these?”
For you do not inquire wisely concerning this. - And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
- But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
- Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
- But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
- But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
- Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.
- Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
- Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
- And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
- He who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver;
Nor he who loves abundance, with increase.
This also is vanity. - For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
- To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
- In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven. - I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.
- But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
