The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous.
If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
Happy are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord.Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
This God—his way is perfect; the promise of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all who take refuge in him.As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
Those who are attentive to a matter will prosper, and happy are those who trust in the Lord.He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.
And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
So those who welcomed his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand persons were added.Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
By insolence the heedless make strife, but wisdom is with those who take advice.Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.
Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors!Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Be on your guard, so that you do not lose what we have worked for, but may receive a full reward.Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
Speak out for those who cannot speak, for the rights of all the destitute.Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.
God gives the desolate a home to live in; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious live in a parched land.God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
I reprove and discipline those whom I love. Be earnest, therefore, and repent.As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

The earth is the Lord's and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it.The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
