Bible Verses about 'Thy'
- Make your ways known to me, O Lord;
teach me your paths. - Let your face shine upon your servant;
save me in your kindness. - Honor your father and your mother so that your days may be lengthened in the land that the Lord your God, will give you.
- Go forth, then. Eat your bread with joy and drink your wine with a cheerful heart, for God long ago approved what you do.
- He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
- Teach me your ways, O Lord,
so that I may walk in your truth;
let me worship your name
with an undivided heart. - Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
- Then keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from telling lies. - Not to us, O Lord, not to us,
but to your name give glory
because of your kindness and faithfulness. - The depths of the sea resound
in the roar of your waterfalls;
all your waves and your breakers
sweep over me. - To do your will, O God, is my delight;
your law is in my heart. - You shall observe the Sabbath by keeping it holy, as the Lord, your God, has commanded you. You are to labor on six days, doing all of your work then. The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord, your God. You shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your ass, nor your cattle, nor even the foreigner living in your town. Thus your manservant and maidservant can rest as well.
- Ensure that the path you tread is level,
and then your ways will be sure. - Salvation comes from the Lord.
May your blessing be upon your people. Selah - My mouth is filled with your praises
as I relate your glory all day long. - For your kindness extends to the heavens;
your faithfulness, to the skies. - Entrust everything that you do to the Lord,
and your plans will turn out to be successful. - O Lord, do not withhold your mercy from me;
may your kindness and your truth keep me safe forever. - Observe your father’s command, my son,
and do not reject your mother’s teaching. - But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees everything that is done in secret will reward you.
- But if you seek the Lord, your God, and you strive with all your heart and your soul, you will find him there.
- For I, the Lord, am your God
and I grasp your right hand.
It is I who say to you,
Do not fear; I will help you. - And so now, O Israel, what does the Lord, your God, require of you but to fear the Lord, your God, to walk in all of his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord, your God, with all your heart and all your soul, and to observe the commandments and the statutes that I am giving you today for your own good.
- Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath in honor of the Lord your God. You shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male slave, nor your female slave, nor your animals, nor the foreigner who dwells with you. The Lord made the heavens and the earth and the seas and that which is in them in six days, but he rested the seventh day. Thus, the Lord blessed the Sabbath and declared it to be sacred.
- Every word you utter is true,
and all your righteous judgments are everlasting. - Hear, O Israel, the Lord, our God, is Lord alone. You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
- This is how you should pray:
‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.’ - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your gracious Spirit lead me
along a level path. - Be mindful, O Lord, that mercy and kindness
have been yours from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth
or my many transgressions,
but remember me in your kindness,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord. - O Lord, hear my prayer,
incline your ear to my supplications.
In your faithfulness respond to me
with your righteousness. - Commit your way to the Lord;
place your trust in him, and he will act.
He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
and the justice of your cause, like the noonday. - The Lord will protect you against all evil;
he will watch over your life.
The Lord will watch over your coming and your going
both now and forevermore. - Banish grief from your heart
and ignore the sufferings of your body,
for youth and the prime of life are fleeting. - Help us, O God, our Savior,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us and wipe away our sins
for your name’s sake. - I will walk in complete freedom
because I have sought your commands. - Do not forsake your friend or the friend of your father,
and do not run to your brother’s house when troubles befall you;
far better is a friend nearby
than a brother who is far away. - But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Your almsgiving must be done in secret. And your Father who sees everything that is done in secret will reward you.
- You will show me the path to life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence
and everlasting delights at your right hand. - I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud
and your sins like a mist.
Return to me,
for I have redeemed you. - You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male slave, nor his female slave, nor his oxen, nor his donkey, nor anything that belongs to your neighbor.
- I will make haste and not delay
to observe your precepts. - If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is preferable for you to lose one part of your body than to have your whole body thrown into Gehenna.
- Do not pride yourself on your own wisdom;
fear the Lord and turn your back on evil.
This will provide healing for your flesh
and restore strength to your body. - You have given me the shield of your salvation;
your right hand sustains me,
and your goodness makes me great.
You broadened the path beneath me
so that my feet have never stumbled. - When I realized that my foot was slipping,
your kindness, O Lord, raised me up. - You shall not hate your brother in your heart, nor shall you rebuke your brother in any way, lest you bear sin because of him. You shall not seek vengeance nor bear a grudge against the children of your people. You shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
- You shall not kill. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness. Honor your father and your mother. Love your neighbor as yourself.
- Your word is a lamp for my feet
and a light to my path. - You are my refuge and my shield;
I put my hope in your word.
