- Shew me thy ways, O Lord;
teach me thy paths. - Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
- Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
- And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
- Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
- And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
- Keep thy tongue from evil,
and thy lips from speaking guile. - Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. - Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts:
all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. - I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee. Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
- Ponder the path of thy feet,
and let all thy ways be established. - Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - Let my mouth be filled with thy praise
and with thy honour all the day. - For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - My son, keep thy father's commandment,
and forsake not the law of thy mother. - But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
- But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
- For I the Lord thy God
will hold thy right hand,
saying unto thee, Fear not;
I will help thee. - And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
- Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Thy word is true from the beginning:
and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.Next verse!With image
