- A friend is always loyal,

you hear my every sigh. - So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

both now and forever. - Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
- And every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. - So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven.
- The Lord will work out his plans for my life—
for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.
Don’t abandon me, for you made me. - But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. Stay away from every kind of evil.
- I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.
- Everyone enjoys a fitting reply;
it is wonderful to say the right thing at the right time! - No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.
- Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.
- No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.
