He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.
It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry.It is a trap to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider one’s vows.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.
Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.“And with you, Lord, is unfailing love”; and, “You reward everyone according to what they have done.”
And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.If this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.
The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness.
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?

I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.I will hasten and not delay to obey your commands.
