Bible Verses about 'Toward'
- I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
- The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right;
his ears are open to their cries for help. - Give me an eagerness for your laws
rather than a love for money! - And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.
- Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.
- Glory to God in highest heaven,
and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased. - In the blink of an eye wealth disappears,
for it will sprout wings
and fly away like an eagle. - And I will forgive their wickedness,
and I will never again remember their sins. - So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. - For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.
- May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.
- “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

- The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.

And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other.
