I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. SelahI lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.
O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.”I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.”
My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You, And my soul, which You have redeemed.I will shout for joy and sing your praises, for you have ransomed me.
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.

Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.
Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.”Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.”
Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.As for me, I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.
I thank You and praise You, O God of my fathers; You have given me wisdom and might, And have now made known to me what we asked of You, For You have made known to us the king’s demand.I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors, for you have given me wisdom and strength. You have told me what we asked of you and revealed to us what the king demanded.
So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”
I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples, And I will sing praises to You among the nations.I will thank you, Lord, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations.
I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.I will sing to the Lord as long as I live. I will praise my God to my last breath!
Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”
But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.But when you fast, comb your hair and wash your face. Then no one will notice that you are fasting, except your Father, who knows what you do in private. And your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven!”
In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!
