Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,”Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
So it shall be when he becomes guilty of one of these things, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned.And it shall be, when he is guilty in any of these matters, that he shall confess that he has sinned in that thing.
Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
