- “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh. - Show me your ways, Yahweh.
Teach me your paths. - For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to Yahweh. - Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh,

For the ways of Yahweh are right,

but the rebellious stumble in them. - If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
- Don’t you be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying: Yahweh of Armies says, ‘Return now from your evil ways and from your evil doings;’ but they didn’t hear nor listen to me, says Yahweh.
- Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to Yahweh’s law. - “Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked?” says the Lord Yahweh, “and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?”
- And keep the instruction of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn yourself.
- God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.
- Only take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of Yahweh commanded you, to love Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commandments, to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- The heart is deceitful above all things
and it is exceedingly corrupt.
Who can know it?
“I, Yahweh, search the mind.
I try the heart,
even to give every man according to his ways,
according to the fruit of his doings.” - For I command you today to love Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahweh your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.
- Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.
- Yahweh says, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, ‘Where is the good way?’ and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’”
- Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, to keep Yahweh’s commandments and statutes, which I command you today for your good?
- For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also.
- For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor; if you don’t oppress the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, and don’t shed innocent blood in this place, and don’t walk after other gods to your own hurt, then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, from of old even forever more.
- God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. God relented of the disaster which he said he would do to them, and he didn’t do it.

but Yahweh weighs the hearts. - I have taught you in the way of wisdom.
I have led you in straight paths. - “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath,
from doing your pleasure on my holy day,
and call the Sabbath a delight,
and the holy of Yahweh honorable,
and honor it,
not doing your own ways,
nor finding your own pleasure,
nor speaking your own words,
then you will delight yourself in Yahweh,
and I will make you to ride on the high places of the earth,
and I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father;”
for Yahweh’s mouth has spoken it. - Teach me your way, Yahweh.
I will walk in your truth.
Make my heart undivided to fear your name. - Let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts.
Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him,
to our God, for he will freely pardon. - But this thing I commanded them, saying, ‘Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. Walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.’
- You shall walk in all the way which Yahweh your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.
- Good and upright is Yahweh,
therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
He will guide the humble in justice.
He will teach the humble his way. - Finally, brothers, rejoice! Be perfected. Be comforted. Be of the same mind. Live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- Wash yourselves. Make yourself clean.
Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes.
Cease to do evil. - It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned.
- There is a way which seems right to a man,
but in the end it leads to death. - Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined, but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
- The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil.
I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth. - Knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things like silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb without blemish or spot, the blood of Christ.
- Yahweh preserves the foreigners.
He upholds the fatherless and widow,
but he turns the way of the wicked upside down. - Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.
- But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
- Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him.
Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way,
because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.
