Bible Verses about 'Weak'

Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

Bible verse of the day

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
