And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up; and anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven.
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?
These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.All these were constantly devoting themselves to prayer, together with certain women, including Mary the mother of Jesus, as well as his brothers.
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.But for you who revere my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.
He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, make you complete in everything good so that you may do his will, working among us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it?
Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, every good path.
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling.
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints.But fornication and impurity of any kind, or greed, must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
