| Don’t use foul or abusive language. | So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. | So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. |
| But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. | But be doers of the word, and not merely hearers who deceive themselves. |
| So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. | So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ. |
| This is what I told them: ‘Obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people.
