In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
