- For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

- But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
- And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
- One who conceals an offense seeks love,
But one who repeats a matter separates close friends. - And He said to them, “Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me; for the one who is least among all of you, this is the one who is great.”
- Who has performed and accomplished it,
Summoning the generations from the beginning?
‘I, the Lord, am the first, and with the last. I am He.’ - Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back.
- One who is on the path of life follows instruction,
But one who ignores a rebuke goes astray. - It goes well for a person who is gracious and lends;
He will maintain his cause in judgment. - One who keeps the commandment keeps his soul,
But one who is careless of conduct will die. - But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
- Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who wait for the Lord. - And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
- Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.
- Who gave Himself for us to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to purify for Himself a people for His own possession, eager for good deeds.
- Open your mouth for the people who cannot speak,
For the rights of all the unfortunate.
